Skills & Proficiencies
These are the skills that I pride myself in, but they are not all I have to offer!
In addition to these, I have exceptional time management, organization, leadership, and customer service skills, as well as 4 years of experience in data entry, database management, and laboratory techniques and best practices.
I am also proficient in Microsoft Office + Google Suite and have a small coding background that I am interested in expanding upon where appropriate!

Written & Verbal Communication
From working as a barista and managing a book store in college to working as a research scientist and project manager, I have learned how to effectively communicate both orally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences, team members and executives, and customers and clients. My goal when communicating is always to inform by meeting people where they are at, both in communication experience and understanding of the material we're discussing.

Applied Mathematics, Stats,
& Data Analytics
I have always loved math. I grew up doing arithmetic for fun, watching college-level lectures on PBS every Saturday morning, and minored in mathematics in college.
I also currently tutor math to K-12 and early college students to ensure they get a solid baseline and love for math that I was able to give myself. Learning new statistics methods and analytical formulas comes second nature to me, and I'm excited for an opportunity to use and hone these skills more regularly, whether that be using
R, Excel, SQL, Tableau, or any other database management system.

Project Management
With my diverse work background comes a diverse number of project management opportunities.
I have managed projects of various complexity with overlapping and sometimes conflicting deadlines with teams sizes ranging from one to five people. With now 3 years of official project management experience under my belt, as well as opportunities to guide teammates as a project lead, I'm confident in my ability to guide a team to victory, by being both an effective leader and a proactive teammate.

Lifelong Learner
One of my very best traits is my passion to be a lifelong learner. With this comes my optimistic outlook on new challenges and methods of completing tasks, as well as problem-solving skills that you can only achieve by routine trial-and-error. I believe in always failing upwards - fail to learn something new, continue to fail until you succeed.

Knowledge of Sustainability/ESG Frameworks
I pride myself in being up-to-date on current sustainability and ESG frameworks and stay diligent to learn and explore emerging ones as they become applicable and accessible. I take care to know what is happening in this space through videos, readings, and social media, as well as further education courses when I can afford them.

Background in Climate Change, Biodiversity, & Environmental Science
At my core, I am an environmentalist.
I wake up everyday excited about the potential impact I can make for and on the environment, and that gives me the drive to get to work and do the best darn job I can. Making the planet a suitable place for all its plants, animals, and organisms, present and future, is my goal. Improving the ways in which humans impact the planet, allowing all of us to thrive now and for as long as Earth continues to orbit is my dream.
Work that allows me to use my knowledge, my passion, and these skills listed above is my calling.
Coursework & Certifications
Here are some courses I have taken and certifications I have earned for my work in sustainability and environmental science, but also in some side curiosities within
coding and design. All courses were taken and completed at UF, unless stated otherwise.
